For development of design procedure for quiet machine, modelling and analysis method of mechanical noise and vibration problems have been studied. Also, structures of musical instruments are investigated to derive an idea of vibration propagation structure.

2. Scientific analysis of musical instruments and design of low noise structure for mechanical systems.
3. Development of the method to suppress the residual vibration for a nonlinear damped system by elimination of the natural frequency component.
