Conditions for Early Completion

Master’s course
  • Course in Mechanical Engineering

    Publication or confirmation of future publication as the lead author of a paper in a refereed journal.

  • Course in Electrical, Electronics, and Information Engineering

    Publication or confirmation of future publication as the lead author of a paper in a major refereed academic journal prior to the submission of the application for early completion.

  • Course in Applied Chemistry

    Presentation of two papers at academic conferences prior to defense of the master’s thesis.

  • Course in Industrial Engineering and Management

    Acceptance as lead author of at least one paper by a refereed academic journal prior to submission of the application for early completion.

  • Course in Architecture and Building Engineering

    Acceptance as lead author of at least one paper by a refereed academic journal prior to submission of the application for early completion.

Doctoral course
  • Course in Mechanical Engineering

    Publication or confirmation of future publication as the lead author of two papers in a refereed journal.

  • Course in Electrical, Electronics, and Information Engineering

    Publication or confirmation of future publication as the lead author of two or more papers in major refereed academic journals prior to the submission of the application for early completion.

  • Course in Applied Chemistry

    Acceptance as lead author of at least three English-language papers by refereed academic journals prior to the defense of the doctoral dissertation.

  • Course in Industrial Engineering and Management

    Acceptance as lead author of two or more papers by a refereed academic journal prior to submission of the application for early completion.

  • Course in Architecture and Building Engineering

    Acceptance as lead author of two or more papers by a refereed academic journal prior to submission of the application for early completion. (Receipt of an award as lead author in a nationwide design competition shall be regarded as equivalent to acceptance by a refereed journal as lead author of a paper).
